We take very good care of the health of the animals here at Precious Pets. Our vet visits daily and kennel staff will alert the vet to any problems they think need investigating. The vets are from an excellent local practice, with a team of experts on hand should the need arise. Our kennel staff are well trained to notice signs and symptoms of sickness. You would be informed of any problem that may give cause for concern and you will be able to speak to the vet directly if you wish.

On arrival in quarantine, all animals are required by law to be vaccinated against Rabies within 24 hours, regardless of whether they have already been vaccinated in their home country or not, unless travelling under The Pet Passport Scheme. This is a Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) regulation. Your pets will also require routine vaccinations unless you can provide evidence of previous vaccination traced to their microchip. All dogs are weighed on arrival and are then weighed every two weeks to keep an eye on their condition  and their waistline!
