The Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) is the system that allows pet animals from certain countries to enter the UK without quarantine, providing they meet certain conditions. The scheme also allows people in the UK to take their pets to these countries and bring them back – without the need for quarantine. Under the scheme, your pet may be consigned to Precious Pets and, providing the documentation is correct, the stay may be 3 to 5 days minimum to several weeks/months if required.

We offer a dual service, importing pets under both the old quarantine regulations and the newer Pet Travel Scheme. And remember, the Pet Passport is only relevant if your pet is returning to the UK from an approved country.

If you would like to bring your pet(s) to us for early release or for Pet Passport, there will be small charges made for vet and administration fees.
