You will need to make their travel arrangements. Pets should be able to stand up, turn around, and lie down comfortably. But remember, too much space in the box can cause discomfort for your pet should the aeroplane experience turbulence during the flight. We can assist you with measuring for their travel box.
You will need to reserve the services of an authorised carrying agent to transport your pet from the point of disembarkation to the quarantine premises. Precious Pets is able to provide this carrying service for you.
We will meet your pet at the port or airport of disembarkation and we will be responsible for your pet s welfare and security while in transit to us at Precious Pets. Our staff are on hand to receive each pet and make sure that their stay is comfortable from the moment they arrive. Most pets soon settle down with the expert attention of our staff, making friends with their neighbours quickly. All animals are inspected by our veterinary surgeon within 24 hours of arrival.
Please contact us for more information and advice about how to prepare for transporting your pet.
