Our new luxury boarding kennels are set in a secluded and sheltered valley, which provides plenty of opportunities for lovely woodland walks.

The spacious kennels have a cosy bedroom with a raised bedding platform, central heating and large exercise runs, and are attended by friendly staff who pride themselves on the care, welfare and happiness of your pet.

We pride ourselves on high standards of hygiene at Precious Pets. You can be reassured that all kennels are thoroughly disinfected between guests and cleaned twice daily.

We supply a good complete food and tinned meat supplement where required, the majority of dogs do very well on it and certainly seem to enjoy it. Diet is, of course, adjusted according to size, breed, age and condition. You are welcome to bring your own food if you prefer or for medical reasons.

Special diets and medication supplied by the pet owner, are not a problem and will be administered according to your instructions. Our vet visits daily and is on-call 24 hours a day in the unlikely event that medical attention is required.

We provide bedding and food bowls but please bring along a 'comforter' such as an unwashed small blanket or piece of clothing to remind your pet of home. Toys are welcome too but they must all be washable and it is better if they are not too precious as dogs can sometimes chew up their favourite toy or blanket in a kennel environment!

Annual vaccinations are essential and you must bring your dog's vaccination card with them. We also highly recommend vaccination against infectious bronchitis (often misleadingly called 'kennel cough' as it is more often caught in the local park or field from other dogs!). The vaccinations must be up to date and have been given at least 5 days prior to arrival and preferably more than 14 days earlier.

Pens are extra large and depending on the sizes of the dogs up to 3 or 4 dogs belonging to the same family can share.

All dogs are walked at least once a day and cuddles provided free of charge! We will also ensure that exercise is limited if required due to medical reasons.

Your dog must wear their collar, but a lead is not essential as we have plenty at the kennels.

We will ask you about nick names, likes and dislikes, temperament, exercise, diet, medication, vet, pick up dates/times and emergency contact details when you arrive.  

Collection and/or delivery service is available - please ask about this if required.
